When I first graduated high school and moved 8 hours away from home to attend school I knew nothing of wine or cooking. I had a beautiful new apartment that was all mine. I also had a beautiful new kitchen that I had no idea what to do with. Up until then I had relied on everyone else to do the cooking for me.

I quickly learned that my life, sadly, is not like Beauty & the Beast in the sense that pots and pans are not gonna magically appear and make me a delicious meal while they sing catchy show tunes.  So I had to learn how to cook all on my own. And I found something out about myself: not only am I actually capable of cooking, but I'm good at it! Cooking has become a new found passion of mine. Which brings me to this blog. This blog is really just my personal collection of recipes I love, wines of note, movies I'm into, fun crafts I've tried, and my journey as a photography student and artist.
